"Welcome to The Inn at Kingsbarns - Our family run 18th century coaching inn, located in the rural conservation village of Kingsbarns. We pride ourselves with our luxury accommodation, high quality dining service and an atmospheric bar with cosy snug. We invite you for an overnight stay, a delicious freshly cooked meal, or maybe a coffee following your walk along the award-winning Kingsbarns Beach..."
Our Gallery Tearoom was created in the cellars of St Adrians, a classic pan-tiled 17th century building. Formerly used as storage space, a significant amount of careful restoration was needed to create the current space. Original features have been revealed, such as the flagstone floor, the exposed stone walls, and an old, small window in the wall facing the sea.
Enjoy the finest freshly ground Fairtrade coffee, espresso, latte, mocha, or speciality teas. Our coffee is ground fresh from the finest Fairtrade coffee beans on demand for every cup. Our teas are selected from the premium Fairtrade range.
Indulge in Fairtrade hot chocolate and whipped cream, or a range of soft drinks, all drinks served with complementary hand-made Scottish tablet.
Lunch with luxury hand-filled Panini, local dressed crab (when available), hot smoked salmon or delicious marinated herring with dill, all served with seasonal dressed salad and sea salt crisps.
Our little cafe creates a friendly buzz when the doors open at 10.30am, from a cooked breakfast to delicious Crail crab there should be something for everyone on our menu. Sourcing is important to us and wherever possible we use local ingredients, our butcher is superb and its hard to get more local than Crab from our harbour or some of Alice's lovely homemade raspberry jam which is a treat on Edna's homebaked fruit or cheese scones. The cheese scones have attracted a fair number of supporters, yummy cheddar with red leicester and a tweak of mustard, try one with our homemade soup, a perfect combination.
We have plenty of seating both inside and out, as a licensed cafe it can be a real delight just sitting in our back garden with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and some nice seafood snacks, or may we suggest a black pudding and chorizo panini lashed with sticky onion marmalade.
Our restaurant is now in the CAMRA real ale and food guide for 2015, and it's no surprise as we offer locally caught fresh seafood and locally sourced meat cooked by our skilled chefs, alongside a fantastic selection of fine real ales and single malt whiskey.
Popular with locals and guests alike, our restaurant offers a warm and friendly atmosphere in which to enjoy our highly-acclaimed food.
